The Wildcats have a 150th anniversary schedule that includes a victory over Michigan. Aside from Michigan State, Gonzaga, UCLA, and Missouri, Kentucky lost to Michigan State, Gonzaga, and UCLA. Rolling tides

Alabama is 7-6-1 against the spread, and their over/under is 8-6. KenPom ranks the Crimson Tide seventh in the nation. Despite playing against the fifth-strongest schedule in the country, they rank 12th in adjusted defensive efficiency and 20th in adjusted offensive efficiency. With wins over Michigan State, North Carolina, San Diego State, Houston, Memphis, and Mississippi State, the Crimson Tides' resume is impressive. UConn and Gonzaga were their losses.

After beating Mississippi on Tuesday, the Tide are 2-0 in conference play. Brandon Miller led the team with 17 points and Mark Sears added 16 points. Miller is averaging 19.1 points, 8.6 rebounds, and shooting 44.1% from three this season. A transfer from Ohio University, Sears averages 14.6 points per game and shoots 42.5% from three. In their SEC opener, Alabama beat Mississippi State 78-67 as two-point favorites. With 20 points, Sears led the way, and Miller added 19 points and 11 rebounds.

This season, Alabama has been the best team and has already overcome some tough challenges. Last four weeks, the Crimson Tide beat the number one team in the nation according to KenPom (Houston) by six points on the road. With four losses by at least nine points on its resume, Kentucky has yet to fare well in the big games. On offense, both teams are explosive, but Alabama defends more effectively and scores more free throws. The Crimson Tide not only knock down a higher percentage of free throws, but they also average 25.4 attempts per game (7th in the nation) compared to just 18.8 (116th) from Kentucky.

In terms of rebounding margin this season, Kentucky ranks fifth with +9.93, while Alabama ranks sixth with +9.86. However, Kentucky is 0-7-1 against the spread in its last eight games, and they are 5-16-2 against the spread in 23 road games. It looks like Alabama will cover.
