Kansas City Chiefs vs Seattle Seahawks Predictions October 25, 2026

Game time: October 25, 2026 at 8:20 PM ET

Venue: Lumen Field — Seattle, WA

Article updated Oct 18, 9:11 AM EDT

By SportsJaw Editorial Team

The Kansas City Chiefs are projected to beat the Seattle Seahawks, Chiefs 23, Seahawks 21, behind an offense that entered Week 6 averaging 6.54 yards per play. Kansas City’s early ball security also contrasts with Seattle’s recent turnover problems. The forecast is a slight Chiefs lean, but neither Kansas City +2.5 (-107) nor the total of 44.5 offers a strong enough edge for an official wager.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Seattle Seahawks prediction and best bet

Kansas City is the pick to win a close game, with a projected score of Chiefs 23, Seahawks 21. The offensive production documented before Week 6 gives the Chiefs a credible route to winning in Seattle, particularly if they continue protecting the ball.

The official betting recommendation is Pass. Seattle’s defensive performance at Denver is a meaningful counterweight, and Kansas City’s statistical snapshot precedes its Oct. 18 game against the Chargers. That leaves a fragile edge for an Oct. 25 forecast. Picking the Chiefs to win does not automatically make the supplied spread a bet.

Kansas City Chiefs outlook

Kansas City entered its Oct. 18 Chargers game at 4-0 following a bye. The Chiefs’ Oct. 17 report ranked their offense second in the NFL at 6.54 yards per play. Through those first four games, they had committed only two turnovers and owned a plus-five turnover margin.

Kenneth Walker III supplied substantial production on the ground: 537 rushing yards through four games, including 367 after contact. Through Week 5, he led the league with 39 forced missed tackles. Those figures suggest Kansas City can sustain offense through difficult carries, an important possibility against a Seattle defense coming off a strong second half.

Kansas City also entered Week 6 at 2-0 in one-score games, with a plus-19 fourth-quarter scoring margin that ranked third in the NFL. That is encouraging, although two close wins are a small sample. Rashee Rice, with a hamstring injury, and Josh Simmons, with a back injury, were ruled out against the Chargers. Their Oct. 25 availability remains unconfirmed.

Seattle Seahawks outlook

Seattle fell to 3-3 with its 17-14 overtime loss at Denver on Oct. 15. It had lost three of four games, with each defeat decided by three points or fewer. The margins show how competitive those games were; the 10 turnovers across the three losses explain a major obstacle to finishing them.

The Denver game brought both offensive resilience and costly errors. Seattle produced two scoring drives to force overtime, but Sam Darnold threw two late interceptions, including the overtime interception that set up the winning field goal. He also took five sacks and absorbed 17 quarterback hits.

Seattle’s defense gave the offense repeated opportunities. Denver gained just 30 yards on 22 second-half plays and finished regulation with 168 net yards. Protection remains a concern in this forecast: as of Oct. 16, right guard Anthony Bradford had been on injured reserve since Week 2 with knee and hip injuries. Christian Haynes and Beau Stephens had rotated in his place.

Key matchup factors

The most consequential question is whether Seattle can finish possessions without giveaways. Kansas City’s earlier ball-security numbers favor the Chiefs, but turnover totals from different stretches are not a promise of another Seattle mistake. A cleaner Seahawks performance would substantially narrow the reason to prefer Kansas City.

Walker’s ability to gain yards after contact offers another potential advantage. It could help Kansas City avoid relying entirely on its passing game. Seattle’s shutdown stretch against Denver is the strongest challenge to that scenario, although those overall defensive totals do not identify a specific strength against the run.

Seattle’s pass protection also matters. The punishment Darnold absorbed at Denver raises questions about offensive consistency, but it should not be treated as a projection of Kansas City’s pressure production.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Seattle Seahawks spread prediction

Pass on Kansas City +2.5 (-107) and Seattle -2.5 (-114). The projected Chiefs victory points toward Kansas City as the preferred side, but the forecast rests on an earlier Chiefs snapshot and a Seattle team whose recent defeats were all close.

The 2.5 points give Kansas City room to lose by one or two and still cover. They do not protect against a three-point defeat. With Seattle’s defensive resistance a substantial counterargument, the preference for the Chiefs stays below the threshold for an official spread wager.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Seattle Seahawks total prediction

Pass on Over 44.5 (-104) and Under 44.5 (-118). The projected 44 points sit just below the line, a negligible cushion for an Under recommendation.

Kansas City’s offensive efficiency favors scoring potential, while Seattle’s defensive work at Denver suggests resistance. Giveaways could shorten scoring drives for the opponent or wipe out an offense’s own chances. Those competing possibilities make neither direction compelling at the supplied prices.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Seattle Seahawks projected score

The forecast is Chiefs 23, Seahawks 21, with low confidence. Kansas City’s documented offensive efficiency and ball security earn the narrow preference. Seattle’s defense is the strongest counterargument, especially if its offense reduces the mistakes that shaped its recent losses.

Kansas City is the projected winner, but the official SportsJaw wager is Pass. The spread and total each carry enough uncertainty to leave both markets alone.
